Defense Falters in 33-25 Loss to Eagles

The Redskins defense melted down again late in the game, giving up 20 points to the Philadelphia Eagles, as the Birds soared past the Burgundy and Gold, 33-25.  Brian Westbrook rushed for 100 yards with a touchdown, and also caught five balls for 83 yards and two scores.  Donovan McNabb tossed for 251 yards and four touchdowns for Philadelphia.  Reggie Brown and L.J. Smith each caught TD passes in the victory.  Jason Campbell threw for 215 yards with three scores for Washington.  James Thrash snared two scoring strikes.  Clinton Portis rushed for 137 yards in the Redskins’ fourth loss of the year against five wins.  Washington will play the Dallas Cowboys on the road this coming weekend.
