As the Redskins prepare to try to ground the New York Jets on the road Sunday, Leigh Torrence is getting much needed experience in the secondary behind Sean Taylor and Fred Smoot. The defensive back saw plenty of action in that blowout in New England last weekend and is getting good reviews from Assistant Head Coach for the Defense, Gregg Williams. He says Torrence is improving with each game. Torrence says he’s looking forward for the chance to step up and is glad to have the confidence of the coaching staff in his ability.

Hi, Matt –
I’m working on an article about Darrell Green and I was hoping to get in touch with you and ask a few questions. What’s the best way to send you an email?
That, or you can contact me directly through the email associated with this comment.
Great work on the site, by the way.
