Posted by Matt Loede on October 17th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Redskins have made some moves to patch an injured offensive line. Linemen Kevin Sampson and Calvin Armstrong have been signed to the taxi squad. Washington released the member of that squad arrested over the weekend for being drunk in public. Defensively, backup tackle Lorenzo Alexander may switch to the offensive line. Cornerback Shawn Springs will not be at practice today. He and other relatives are in Dallas at the bedside of his father Ron Springs. The former star for the Cowboys has slipped into a coma.
