Injuries and Health Problems Dog Redskins

Lots of health problems continue among players and coaches for the Washington Redskins. For starters, offensive line coach Joe Bugel is due back at work today after being rushed to a hospital to have a kidney stone removed. Wide receiver Brandon Lloyd took himself out of drills yesterday with an injured shin. Lloyd hasn’t done much since coming over from the San Francisco 49ers before last season. Star wide receiver Santana Moss still is recovering from a strained groin, suffered in the loss to the New York Giants. Running back Clinton Portis has a slight knee sprain, but should play Sunday in Landover against the Detroit Lions. Washington has won two of its first three games in 2007.
