Redskin Park Quiet During Bye Week

Redskin Park is strangely quiet this week. Players and coaches for the Washington Redskins are enjoying a week off before the team begins preparations next week for the home game with the Detroit Lions a week from Sunday afternoon. Washington is coming off a bitter home loss to the New York Giants in Landover this past Sunday afternoon, 24-17. It was the first defeat of 2007 for the “Burgundy and Gold” and the first victory of the season for the Giants. The Redskins managed only 83 yards of offense in the second half and blew a chance to punch in the tying touchdown before the clock ran out.
