Skins Well Aware of the Dangerous Giants

Despite giving up 80 points in two games and being on the verge of a meltdown, the Redskins are very weary of the team they take the field against today looking to move to 3-0 – the New York Giants.  Head coach Joe Gibbs has done his best this week to make sure his team does not look past Big Blue.  “All of us know the Giants,” Gibbs said. “First of all, that team beat us twice last year with most of the same players. We’ve got a short work week. You can imagine how hard they’re going to play. Right now they’re sitting there at 0-2 a real, real good football team. I know what we’re going to get.”

The Skins are riding high at 2-0 after wins over the Dolphins and Eagles, and a win today puts them on track to have what should be the best season the team has had since Gibbs’ return to the sidelines.  A loss though and the whispers about just how good the team will start to pop up.  “We can’t get too comfortable in our situation,” Washington center Casey Rabach said. “They’re dangerous. They’ve got nothing to lose.”
