Redskins offensive lineman Randy Thomas had surgery on his torn triceps. There is no word yet from the team if the guard is going onto the injured reserve list. If he winds up there, his season is shot. Washington is unbeaten in two games as the running game ranks fourth in the NFL. The Redskins are among 10 teams without a loss. Wide receiver Santana Moss says it’s good to play out of the limelight. The “Burgundy and Gold” will try to make it three straight victories Sunday afternoon at FedEx Field against the New York Giants. Washington will wear yellow and white uniforms, a throwback to the 1970s. The team is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
