Daniels downgraded for Monday night game

Washington Redskins defensive end Philip DanielsIn what will provide a test for the Washington Redskins’ young defensive line, the team has downgraded defensive end Philip Daniels to “doubtful”, making his availability for the Monday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles less than likely.  His unavailability will provide a stern test as Demetric Evans would more than likely replace Daniels on the Redskins’ defensive line.

The only other DE currently on the Redskins roster is first-year player Chris Wilson; the Redskins cut veteran Renaldo Wynn during the preseason without addressing the need for defensive line help, despite their defense being ranked 31st in the NFL last season.
