Skins Sign WR Caldwell

Looking to shore up their wide out core, the Redskins on Tuesday signed former Pats and Chargers wide receiver Reche Caldwell. He had been with the Pats this past training camp, but was let go. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Last season in New England, Caldwell started 14 of 16 games catching 61 passes for 760 yards and four touchdowns. He was very productive in last years AFC playoffs, with 16 catches for 176 yards and one score. In five seasons with the Chargers and Patriots, Caldwell has 137 receptions for 1,170 yards and 11 touchdowns.
