TE Chris Cooley Looking to Improve

Tight end Chris Cooley looms big in the offensive scheme for the Redskins this season. Coordinator Al Saunders says the Utah State product is a lot better than at this point in 2006 and says Cooley has the talent to rival Tony Gonzalez who played under him with the Kansas City Chiefs. Cooley caught 57 balls last season and plans to be one of quarterback Jason Campbell’s favorite receivers in 2007. Cooley and teammates will kick off the home preseason Saturday night in Landover against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
