The Redskins are breathing a collective sigh of relief.  Those dreaded two-a-day workouts are over in Ashburn for another year.  Brandon Lloyd is third on the depth chart among receivers.  He sat out Saturday’s win in Nashville with shin splints.  Last year, Lloyd caught only 23 balls.  He wants to improve on that output in 2007.  Running back Clinton Portis says he hopes to resume heavier drills soon to test his sore knee.  Washington kicks off its home preseason schedule Saturday evening against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
