Locals Help Skins Beat Titans

Two local players helped the Redskins rally to beat the Tennessee Titans, 14-6, to kick off the preseason Saturday evening. Georgetown Prep graduate Marcus Mason scored the tying touchdown on a short plunge late in the game in Nashville. Only moments later, DeMatha product Byron Westbrook pounced on a fumble in the end zone for Washington’s second score. Washington kicks off the home preseason Saturday night with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
