Redskins Ink 7th-Round draft pick

The Associated Press has learned that the Washington Redskins on Monday signed seventh-round draft pick Tyler Ecker, a tight end from Michigan. Ecker was the 216th overall selection in the draft in April. He is the first of the Redskins’ picks to agree to a contract. Ecker played in 45 career games with eight starts at Michigan. He had 55 catches for 677 yards and six touchdowns.
